Wearing sun glasses at your next poker game can be the difference in winning vs. loosing. Every player has a “tell” of some kind, regardless of how good they think they are. If your “tell” is too hard for you to control then this may be the answer for you. Sunglasses can frustrate and annoy your competitors without letting them read your face, eyes and overall mood.
Everyone remembers Greg Raymer, 2004 World Series of Poker Champion, and his reptile sunglasses on ESPN. He looked stupid but he won the whole thing and 5 Million Dollars. So, when my friends started making fun of me I smiled and said, "Pass me a Beer". Then proceeded to win our (7) man no-limit holdem’ poker game.
The important thing is to stay with the glasses and it psychologically affects your opponents. It may be tempting to take them off but don’t. Players will react differently to your bluffs, raises and other moves. The best feeling is going “all in” and they have no idea how to read you.
Try it and see how you like it.
